We are seeking a Pastry Chef to join our team! In this role, you will prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweets. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for developing innovative desserts. Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets, including cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and pastries
- Develop new and innovative recipes
- Decorate cakes and baked goods
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Prepare custom orders
- Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
- Supervise pastry assistants and bakers
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of gluten-free baking, sugar-free baking, and other ingredient limitations
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Available for early morning shifts
Salary : $15 - $20
