Role Description

The Contract Exercise Team Member - Program Staff will provide support in delivering group exercise programs tailored to clients impacted by cancer, including activities focused on physical rehabilitation and wellness. Day-to-day tasks include leading group exercise classes, developing individualized exercise prescriptions, and ensuring safe, effective strength training programs. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mentor, OH, where staff will collaborate closely with the community to drive wellness and recovery initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Group Exercise and leading classes effectively
• Strong understanding of Exercise Physiology, Exercise Prescription, and Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Skills in Strength Training and implementing appropriate techniques
• Ability to adapt exercise programs to the needs of individuals impacted by cancer
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in wellness, rehabilitation, or clinical exercise programs is a plus
• Caring and empathetic communication skills to foster supportive relationships
• Current certification in CPR/AED is strongly preferred
