Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, outgoing and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, fostering their development through play and structured activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Educate children through creative play, storytelling, and hands-on activities that stimulate their curiosity.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment conducive to learning.
- Assist in planning and executing daily schedules that include educational activities, meals, and rest periods.
- Support children’s social skills development through group activities and cooperative play.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students in an educational context is a plus.
- Skills in behavior management to effectively handle various situations that may arise with children.
- A background in toddler care is beneficial for this role.
