Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician or Camera Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage relay systems, cameras, networking, software, troubleshooting, and field repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Duties
- Install and configure low voltage systems including security, audio/visual, and data communication systems.
- Following instructions, utilizing tech supports, and working on your own to ensure accurate installation/repairs
- Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for system diagnostics.
- Perform regular maintenance on existing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician, camera installation, or in a similar role is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
