The Garrett Group is seeking a Technical Editor/Information Manager for an upcoming contract to undertake critical responsibilities for a future contract at the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER). In this role, you will primarily focus on conducting routine assessments of service deployment certification events and mandatory prerequisite training crucial for deployments in support of Combatant Commands (CCMDs). JCER conducts thorough evaluations of venues, events, and units while adhering to established standards such as the Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs) and the EMOE Characterization Framework.

- Proficiency in performing technical writing for organizations conducting developmental or operational evaluations.
- Ability to review, proofread, and edit documentation (including plans, briefings, and evaluation products) ensuring adherence to basic writing principles such as grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and accepted English usage.
- Experience in managing the document preparation, coordination, and archival process, including writing, editing, proofing, and ensuring policy compliance regarding format, coordination, and tracking status.
- Capability in developing writing and/or editing policies, guidelines, and templates.
- Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience.
- Experience in reviewing documentation for proper security markings in accordance with applicable Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
- Ability to develop and manage processes to produce staff documents, staff packages, correspondence, and reports.
- Proficiency in developing standardization recommendations and documentation for web developers, Information Providers, and knowledge facilitators.
- Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
- Support data collections during evaluation planning, execution, and analysis.
- Assist in data reduction and transcription.
- Coordinate with web developers to ensure web applications are developed, documented, and current regarding application and content.
- Assist JCER leadership in identifying areas of opportunity to improve gaps in knowledge flow and storage.
- Develop briefings, talking papers, scripts, and/or other communication mediums to ensure JCER is aware and adhering to content and standardized business processes.
- Develop and maintain processes to standardize JCER file naming conventions, templates, and data with appropriate writing instructions, guides, and templates for various document types.
- Maintain the organization's information management plan (IMP), codify information systems tools and procedures including collaborative planning tools.
- Address information sharing and collaboration requirements with interorganizational agencies, coalition, and mission partners, codify processes to gain and share information with all stakeholders in and out of your communications network.
- Codify RFI management procedures, address system recovery and outage mitigation procedures, assist in standardizing standard business rules for data and information management, identify information assurance requirements and procedures.
