What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collective Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) position at The Garrett Group?
The Garrett Group is seeking a skilled Collective Training SME to join our J7 team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, or Global Strike and be capable of leading and supporting joint collective training initiatives. This role involves providing expert guidance on joint collective training development and execution and assisting team members in accomplishing the Collective Training mission.
The candidate must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of USSTRATCOM-assigned UCP mission sets and possess knowledge of CJCS and USSTRATCOM Emergency Action Procedures (EAP). A thorough understanding of end-to-end operations, from National-level decision-making to unit-level execution, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in the development, administration, and execution of scenario-based training modules. Prior operational experience at a CCMD, Joint Staff, or Service MAJCOM, including command center/battle staff duties, is highly desirable.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, or Global Strike. They should possess strong authoritative knowledge in joint collective training and have proven expertise in USSTRATCOM-assigned UCP mission sets and CJCS/USSTRATCOM EAP. Experience in end-to-end operations and processes is required.
