We are looking for Banquet Bartender- ON CALL to provide prompt, friendly, efficient and effective service at banquet events.

Position: Bartender
Department: Banquet Beverage
Division: Banquet
Position Purpose: Execution of beverage service and all of the components involved at the highest level in the Banquet Events area.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for setting up portable bars and have working area ready at least 15 minutes before event begins.
- Responsible for keeping bars well stocked at all times with hard Liquor, Beer, Wines and Soft Drinks.
- Responsible for liquor pouring control.
- Has the ability to use the POS efficiently and manage bar inventory.
- Responsible for opening and closing procedures
- Direct and consistent communication with banquet management or banquet captains.
- Listens to and reports customer complaints regarding service, product and personnel.
- Must effectively delegate service responsibilities to the assisting staff. Eg. Bar back,
Position Requirements:
- Ability to prepare and serve drinks- cocktails to guests attending social or corporate events
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel and general public.
Education: High school or equivalent
Experience: One year or more of bar service in a fine dining outlet.
Reporting Relationship:
This position reports to the Banquet Manager or Banquet captain
Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt.
