Part time opening on our morning shift 7a-11a for Universal Worker three days per week, plus every other weekend. Starting wage for Universal Worker is $15.00-$16.50 including experience base. This job is a fantastic fit for someone who is currently in school and looking for something that fits into their schedule!

This position is eligible for continued education to become a medication manager if you haven't already completed the course and wanted to further your education! Candidates should have a passion for customer service and caregiving, however, previous experience in caregiving is NOT a requirement! We are willing to train and invest in the right candidate. Tell us what makes you a good fit for this work.
As a Universal Worker you will be under the direction of the Assisted Living Director. You will provide assistance and reminders to tenants with aspects of daily living as provided in their service plan. The duties also require, but are not limited to assistance with light house keeping, laundry, dining and assisting with assessments.

The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is a locally owned and managed senior community that opened in August 2017. Our campus includes 30 apartment assisted living, 12 unit assisted living memory care, and 40 bed skilled nursing facility.
