What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Technician for Memory Care position at The Gardens of Amarillo Memory Care?
Our Memory Care Facility is currently hiring full-time Med Techs to work in our senior living community. Our facility is a warm and inviting facility. We are looking for dependable and dedicated staff that will provide outstanding care to our Residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete Medication pass on assigned unit per facility protocol.
- Document all medications given to residents scheduled.
- Report to Charge Nurse any change in Resident's status.
- Make sure Medication count is done and documented every shift.
- Providing personal services, such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and elimination.
- Recording and monitoring vital signs and performing basic laboratory tests
- Helping patients move in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs and automobiles.
- Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe environment.
- Providing basic wound care and CPR and first aid when needed.
- Participating in care planning and communicating with staff and family members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dependable
- Experience required
- Valid current certifications
- Positive attitude
SCHEDULES:
- 6am to 2pm, 2 pm to 10pm, & 10 pm to 6 am.
- Various shifts available including opportunities for weekends and possible overtime.
