About the Role:
As a Float QMAP/Caregiver, you’ll provide essential care and support to residents across multiple locations in our North, Central, and South regions. This position offers you the flexibility to select your working days and hours, ensuring you can maintain a healthy work-life balance.
How Does It Work?
- Select your preferred working days (Must include at least one weekend shift). For example, you can choose Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday, or any combination in between.
- Choose at least two different shifts from the following options:
- Morning Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
- Evening Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
- Overnight Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM
- 12-Hour Shifts: Some locations offer 12-hour shifts starting at 6 AM, 7 AM, or 8 AM and PM.
- Choose your preferred region:
- North Region: Ft. Lupton, Evans, Thornton, Federal Heights
- Central Region: Arvada, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge
- South Region: Centennial, Aurora, Castle Rock
- If there’s no available shift on your preferred date or time, you’ll still be guaranteed hours by filling in for breaks, assisting with activities, reception, or housekeeping by “floating” to another location as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality caregiving services and QMAP support to residents.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including but not limited to:
- Medication administration
- Activities
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Laundry
- Personal care (showers, toileting)
- Companionship
- Support residents with their emotional, physical, and social needs in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Requirements:
- Valid QMAP certification (or the ability to obtain one).
- Caregiving experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work in multiple locations when needed.
- Availability to work at least one weekend shift per week.
- Flexibility to work a combination of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to float to other locations when necessary.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
