Transportation Aide/Driver – Full-Time | Flexible Hours(Primarily Monday–Friday)

Pay Range: $18.00–$20.50/hour (based on experience)

The Gardens at York Terrace, a skilled nursing facility nestled in the heart of Pottsville, PA, is seeking a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Transportion Aide/Driver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents are transported safely and comfortably to medical appointments, dialysis, and other scheduled outings.

This is primarily Monday through Friday with flexible, with occasional weekend availability required based on resident needs and appointment schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule the appointments of residents

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments and outings using a facility-provided vehicle

• Provide courteous, hands-on assistance to residents entering and exiting the vehicle

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times

• Coordinate closely with nursing and administrative staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs

• Uphold a strong commitment to resident safety, dignity, and comfort

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, professional demeanor

• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs in a respectful and safe manner

• Previous experience transporting seniors or working in a healthcare setting is a plus

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

• Previous computer experience required
