Position Details
- Part-Time (Approximately 20 Hours Per Week)
- Evening Shift
- Every Other Weekend Required (EOW)
- Required to Work 3 Holidays Per Year and Off 3 Holidays Per Year
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary requirements
- Follow standardized recipes and proper portion control procedures
- Prepare food for regular, therapeutic, and special diets as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and inventory as needed
- Support overall dietary department operations and meal service schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to providing quality service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
