The Gardens at Millville is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. If you are passionate about preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and thrive in a team-oriented healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.

Schedule

• 5:45am to 1:45pm PRN

• Every other weekend and holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control guidelines.

• Coordinate food production schedules to ensure meals are served promptly.

• Follow standardized recipes and accommodate therapeutic and special dietary requirements.

• Accurately execute menu items, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

• Maintain compliance with sanitation standards and food production codes.

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Preferred: One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or healthcare setting.

• Culinary training or formal education is a plus.

• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe food handling practices.
