RN Supervisor (Full-Time)

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend

The Gardens at Gettysburg is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading a team, making clinical decisions, and ensuring exceptional resident care during overnight hours.

As the RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations on your shift, provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and serve as the primary clinical resource for the facility during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift.

• Ensure high-quality, resident-centered care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.

• Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition.

• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented.

• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and quality standards.

• Participate in shift report and ensure continuity of care between shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently while fostering a positive team environment.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.
