Job Description
The Gardens at Aldersgate is seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher to join our Dietary Services team. This role is essential in supporting the daily nutritional needs of our residents by maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment and assisting with meal service. Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dish room, and dining areas according to sanitation and infection control standards
- Assist dietary staff with meal preparation, tray setup, delivery, and pickup as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines at all times
- Properly dispose of trash and recycling
- Assist with stocking supplies and putting away deliveries
- Support dietary staff to ensure residents receive meals timely and accurately
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or dishwashing is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
