About Us
The Gardener’s Pantry is a new specialty retail shop opening in the heart of downtown Exeter, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of wines, artisan cheeses, fresh bread, seasonal flowers, specialty pantry provisions, and beautiful goods for the home.
Our hope is to create a warm, welcoming shopping experience that celebrates good food, thoughtful gatherings, and the simple pleasures of everyday living.
About the Position
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic individual to join our small team!
The ideal candidates enjoy working with people, appreciate beautiful products and good food, and take pride in creating an inviting, memorable customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, attentive service
- Assisting with product selections and purchases
- Operating the register and processing transactions
- Stocking merchandise and maintaining attractive displays
- Caring for fresh flowers and specialty food products
- Keeping the shop clean, organized, and well presented
- Assisting with opening and closing responsibilities
Who We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in individuals who are personable, reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a small retail environment.
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine interest in the shop are equally important.
An appreciation for food, wine, flowers, and home goods is certainly a plus!
Due to alcohol sales, all candidates must be 18 .
Available Shifts
Weekend Position – Approximately 12 hours/week
- Saturday: 2:00–7:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
