What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Community - Clinical Director position at The Garden Villas - Texarkana, AR?
We need to hire a full-time clinical director for our 16-person therapeutic community. If you want to make a real difference in people’s lives, this is your chance. Our clients will stay with us on average 18 to 24 months and will be receiving therapy and counseling during their entire stay. We need a self-starter who can conduct group and individual meetings as well as documenting their progress. You will be working closely with our psychiatrist, our psychiatric nurse practitioner, and the facility program director. You can have some flexibility with your hours as long as you can complete all of your work within our guidelines. Our services are for people with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, and with high supervision needs.
Qualifications: In order to apply for this position, YOU MUST HAVE ONE (1) OF THE FOLLOWING: State of Arkansas licenses or certifications: Psychologist; Certified Social Worker; Psychological Examiner – Independent; Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Advanced Practice Nurse with: A specialty in psychiatry or mental health; and a minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience post master’s degree; or Clinical Nurse Specialist with: A specialty in psychiatry or mental health; and a minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience post master’s degree.
