The Details
- Schedule: Full-time, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Availability: Must be willing to work some weekends as needed.
- Location: Fixed schedules covering properties between Midland and Odessa, TX.
Responsibilities
- Lawn & Landscape Care: Perform mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf vibrant. Conduct planting, pruning, shrubbery trimming, and flower bed upkeep.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery (including mowers, blowers, and potentially excavators) for landscaping projects.
- Tree & Irrigation Maintenance: Maintain trees through trimming and pruning to promote safety and aesthetics. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering.
- Project Support: Assist with hardscape projects (walkways, patios, retaining walls) and execute snow removal operations during winter months to keep pathways clear.
- Professionalism: Maintain a proactive attitude while servicing a mix of high-visibility commercial sites and detailed residential yards.
Experience & Requirements
- Technical Skills: Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge of power tools and small machinery is essential.
- Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with horticulture, tree trimming techniques, and irrigation system maintenance will set you apart.
- Safety & Teamwork: A strong understanding of safety procedures and excellent teamwork skills are required to succeed in this fast-paced environment.
