Epoxy Floor Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring durable, high-quality flooring installations across various commercial and residential projects. Duties

• Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion for epoxy coatings
• Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, sealers, and topcoats with precision according to project specifications
• Read blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to accurately execute installation procedures
• Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, drills, trowels, and buffing machines to complete installations efficiently
• Perform surface testing for moisture levels and surface integrity prior to application
• Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of flooring projects
• Conduct water damage restoration tasks related to flooring as needed and perform floor care maintenance post-installation

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project planning for flooring projects
• Extensive experience in flooring installation, including epoxy coating application and tile laying
• Proven construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques
• Familiarity with restoration industry practices, water damage restoration, and floor care procedures
• Ability to perform concrete finishing, remodeling tasks, and construction painting when required
• Experience in cabinet installation, handyman work, buffing floors, and using schematics for precise execution
• Knowledge of the restoration industry standards related to flooring repairs and surface preparation
