Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Assist bartenders with food preparation, such as garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or appetizers
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces regularly
- Support with bussing tables and clearing empty dishes to uphold high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Handle basic cash handling duties using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Experience in restaurant, banquet, or hotel settings will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and basic culinary skills is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for guest interactions
- Prior roles involving bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or serving will support your success in this position
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
