The Line Cook / Chef Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Executive Chef and ensuring smooth, efficient operations in the kitchen. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards, assisting with daily prep work, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping a well-organized station during service.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to recipes and presentation standards

Assist the Chef with prep tasks, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and organizing ingredients

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly workstation at all times

Support the Chef during service by ensuring timely production and proper plating of dishes

Help receive, rotate, and store inventory following food-safety guidelines

Follow all kitchen safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment and food

Communicate effectively with the Chef and team to ensure a smooth service flow

Assist with closing duties: cleaning, labeling, storing ingredients, and resetting stations

Qualifications:
