Pet Bather / Grooming Assistant

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

The Furry Club is a boutique pet care facility focused on providing exceptional grooming, daycare, and boarding services in a calm, safe, and loving environment. We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking, and animal-loving Pet Bather/Grooming Assistant to join our growing team.

Schedule:

• Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• Approximately 24 hours per week
• Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, dry, and brush dogs of various breeds and sizes
• Assist groomers with preparation and finishing work
• Perform basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims (experience preferred)
• Safely handle dogs with different temperaments
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
• Clean and sanitize equipment, kennels, and workspaces
• Assist with daycare and boarding duties when needed
• Monitor pets for comfort, safety, and overall well-being
• Provide friendly and professional customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous dog bathing experience preferred
• Grooming salon experience is a plus
• Pet daycare, boarding, or animal care experience is a plus
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being
