The Fullington Auto Bus Company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our Director of Human Resources, supervise HR staff, and oversee day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced transportation environment. Position Summary:
This position is involved with recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies etc. The job involves keeping up to date with areas such as employment law and regulatory changes.
Essential Functions:
- Manage daily employee relations, including addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues professionally.
- Advise managers on HR policies, practices, and employee relations matters.
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee benefits administration.
- Develop and implement employee programs and services.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant employee records and HR systems.
- Supervise and support HR staff and ensure effective daily operations.
Qualifications include:
- Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a management role;
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment;
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office or comparable software;
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
