Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Take orders for drinks and food, ensuring proper serving etiquette and timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in lively settings like nightclubs or banquet events.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management to prevent shortages.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and beverage service, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate order calculations.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to all applicable laws related to food safety and responsible beverage service.
- Experience in catering, banquet events, or retail food industry is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment such as nightclubs or restaurants.
