Summer Intern- Marketing

The Intern under the leadership of their respective managers will participate in projects and collaborate with associates across different businesses. The Intern will also have opportunities to interact with other Interns and Associates in scheduled fun activities and learning events.

Responsibilities

Intern may be exposed to and involved in the following aspects of Marketing to include, several key marketing projects focused on the growth of the company while gaining experience with market research, in depth marketing analysis, design, social media, and marketing automation.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field.

• Overall GPA 3.0 or above

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements

• The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the facility. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business purposes.
• The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

• While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.

Travel Required

• Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).

Intern must reside in the Houston or surrounding areas during the duration of the internship.
