Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Keyholder to join our retail team. The Keyholder will play a vital role in managing daily store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. As a Keyholder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, handling cash transactions, and maintaining store standards to deliver a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store safely, ensuring all security protocols are followed
- Supervise daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment
- Assist with employee orientation, training new team members, and supporting ongoing staff development
- Manage POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee cash handling procedures and perform bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees
- Coordinate purchasing and inventory control to optimize stock levels and minimize shrinkage
- Implement marketing strategies to promote sales and enhance store visibility
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills, professionalism, and teamwork
Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred
- Strong background in retail sales, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling
- Proven leadership skills with experience in training & development, team management, and shift supervision
- Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and merchandising principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, phone etiquette, time management, and administrative tasks
- Experience with marketing initiatives or wireless sales is advantageous but not required
