We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Summary of Position

Responsible for assisting with the complete operations of assigned store, in conjunction with assigned tasks and duties.

Assist in hiring, training and development of all store associates in sales, operations and merchandising. Reports to Store Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assists with all store functions including scheduling, ordering, freight processing, assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels and all day-to-day store activities as directed. Performs all opening and closing procedures.

Protects and secures all company assets, including store cash. Adheres to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines.

Provide leadership and direction to associates as appropriate to include utilization of daily planner. Maintain professional and friendly environment to create excellent shopping experience for customers. Provide leadership and direction to associates as appropriate to utilize client cards to create repeat sales.

Maintain sales floor to company standards. Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and counseling of associates. Processing of all required reports, documents, and memos.

Proficient use of available tools and technology at the store level.

Manager sales to meet/exceed sales budget while maintaining key metrics (ADT, UPT, Niche %)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Must possess prior retail experience.

Must possess prior Keyholder/management experience.

Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Requirements:

• Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
• Experience with POS (point of sale) processing preferred but not required
• Understanding of retail sales principles preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills – face to face and online
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments, including during peak times when the store is most profitable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.25 - $18.00 per hour
