We serve as both a café and an event space, and we’re looking for a versatile, experienced barista who is excited to work across coffee service, bartending, and special events.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Part-Time Barista with café experience who is comfortable supporting bartending service and on-site events. The ideal candidate is adaptable, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee to company standards
- Support bartending duties, including preparing beer, wine, and simple cocktails as trained
- Assist with private events, pop-ups, and catered services, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to café guests and event clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee bar, bar area, and event service spaces
- Accurately operate POS systems and handle cash and card transactions
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Restock inventory and prep syrups, garnishes, and ingredients as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of barista experience in a fast-paced or specialty coffee setting
- Comfortable learning or assisting with bartending and event service
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior bartending or alcohol service experience (or willingness to obtain required certifications)
- Experience working events, catering, or high-volume service environments
