Job Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Planner who can provide both advisor support and client-facing financial analysis, and who is excited to be part of one of the fastest-growing wealth management and tax service firms in the nation. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial planning to our clients while supporting the continued growth of our advisory team, primarily based in Texas with additional teammates across the country.
This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and energized by working directly with clients while partnering with lead advisors to build, present, and refine comprehensive financial plans. You will help ensure that every client receives an exceptional planning experience grounded in clarity, accuracy, and proactive guidance.

Location:
Austin, TX is the preferred location alignment; Dallas, TX or San Antonio, TX are alternate office locations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- CFP® preferred (or progress towards a near completion)
- Additional designations (CFA, CPA, EA, JD/LLM, etc.) are a plus
- 4–8 years of experience in financial planning or advisor support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a way clients can easily understand
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- High ethical standards and a client-first mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with LPL, Black Diamond, or Salesforce is beneficial
Client Interaction & Support:
- Participate in client meetings to gather information, present planning updates, and support the lead advisor
- Build trusting, long-term relationships through proactive communication
- Gain a deep understanding of each client’s goals, needs, and financial situation
- Assist clients with plan implementation, account changes, and follow-up items
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Analyze client financial data, including balance sheets, cash flow, income, and expenses
- Identify planning opportunities across tax, investments, estate planning, retirement, and risk management
- Prepare and update financial plans tailored to clients’ goals and evolving life circumstances
- Conduct research to support recommendations for investment, tax, and financial strategies
Advisor Support:
- Support the lead advisor in preparing meeting materials, reports, and follow-up actions
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and planning software
- Assist with investment portfolio updates and operational needs
- Help with onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth transition into the advisory process
