Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (Night Shift)

Night Shift (11pm - 7am)
Overview:
The Fountains/Gardens at Indiana is hiring a personal care assistant to join our team by providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Our newly-constructed facility offers a positive work environment where you will able to develop your professional experience and have a positive impact by providing direct care to residents at The Fountains. Associated training and education is provided to new hires with hiring on all shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Working with residents, learning their stories, and spending time making sure they feel cared throughout the day/or night.
- Providing immobile, recovering, or frail clients with support, company, and comfort.
- Dispensing medications, administering treatments, and assisting with exercise routines as prescribed.
- Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients to relevant parties.
- Providing support with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engaging clients in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
- Providing mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Maintaining a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Direct care staff training
- Diabetes certification
- Medication administration certification
- First Aid CPR Training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
