We’re currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our team at our Darlington branch. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional who is passionate about helping individuals and businesses reach their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and evaluate the financial needs of prospective clients.
- Analyze creditworthiness and underwrite loan applications.
- Recommend loan products tailored to customer needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Participate in meetings, community events, and ongoing training sessions.
- Grow and manage a high-quality loan portfolio.
- Provide regular update and feedback to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven success in sales, banking, or financial services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with a genuine desire to help others.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficient in evaluating financial information and managing customer relationships.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent work experience in banking, sales, or finance will also be considered.
- Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
