- Pay: 34.00/hr. No flexibility in pay.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year to start with possibility of extension.
- Onsite role in Dixon.
- Two shifts, one starts at 630 and another starts at 9, therefore their overall lab hours are longer. This need is for 6:30am start time. Must be flexible in case 9am start coverage is needed.
- Must have PCR experience.
- Will be handling 4k PCR reactions per day. These go into 3 platforms. Regular PCR, NGS, TaqMan RT-PCR, and copy number variation.
- Training can take :4-6 months.
- Experience using high throughput or multichannel pipetting a big plus ex. Pipetting into 384-well plate.
- NGS includes MiSeq & Nanopore. Experience using Nanopore or MiSeq/Illumina, whether it's troubleshooting the instrument or doing library prep.
- Genetics background would be good..
- Robotics/high throughput.
