What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at The Fountain Group?
Shift Information:
- Monday-Friday, Onsite Position!
- Schedule transitions split 6 months on 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Changing to 3:00 PM-12:00 AM ( flexible) after the first 6 months.
- Pay range starts at $60 /hr!
- Relocation and Visa Candidates are both welcome to apply!
- 12 Month contract to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

- Position is primarily responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing process development for new product launches while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and business objectives.
- Position will also be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and tooling while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and operational excellence.
- Position will be in charge of leading cross-functional manufacturing projects, supporting production launches, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and serving as a technical manufacturing leader through coaching and process improvement initiatives.
- 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering experience supporting new product launches in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required!
- Experience with FANUC HandlingTool or ArcTool robotics is required!
- Experience interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings is required!
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, manufacturing equipment/tooling, and cross-functional project leadership is required!
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required!
- Experience leading production launch activities is preferred!
- Experience developing and standardizing manufacturing processes and best practices is preferred!
