Overview:
One of the keys to our success is our relentless focus on leveraging data to drive insights and decision making. Our Data Operations Team is a critical pillar within our GTM Business Operations group and is tasked with ensuring our Salesforce.com data is governed, accurate, and reliable on a day to day basis. This includes managing urgent escalations, tracking and monitoring changes in data, and observing trends to guide system improvements.
The Data Operations Analyst is the front line in ensuring that these goals come to fruition. This position reports to the Senior Manager,Data Operations and will require cross-functional partnerships with the broader Go-to-Market Business Operations group, Customer Support, IT, Finance, and other organizations across Palo Alto Networks. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently Manage Ticket Queue
- Prioritize and handle service requests within specified SLA requirements, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders
- Engage with internal teams to address service requests and resolve issues related to data accuracy.
- Conduct Public Data Research
- Validate changes to account hierarchies, deduplication, and firmographic data by researching and analyzing public data sources.
- Enforce Data Standards and Policies
- Implement, adhere to, and communicate data standards, policies, and processes to maintain data integrity.
- Perform Mass Data Analysis and Updates
- Execute analyses and updates to account information on a larger scale, improving overall data accuracy.
- Regular Data Maintenance
- Carry out routine data maintenance and validation activities to uphold the quality and accuracy of account information.
- Handle Complex Issues and Escalations
- Investigate and manage corner case issues, taking them to closure and providing thorough documentation.
- Monitor Service Request Trends
- Track and record trends in service requests, identify error rates, and interpret results from dashboards to enhance overall performance.
- Assist in SLA Design and Development
- Contribute to the design, development, and execution of SLAs to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Data Integrity Team
- Work closely with the Data Integrity and Policy Team to document data standards and policies effectively.
- Organized, proactive individual that can operate independently in solving complex problems with little guidance
- Interest in the concerns and topics related to data accuracy
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to investigate and interpret data accuracy
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to speak fluently in business language in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to pick up new tools,platforms, and business processes
- Ability to manage requestor escalations through appropriate channels
- Experience dealing with multiple teams, and have a business centric approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- Experience with SFDC and SFDC tools (SOQL and ETL, Salesforce Inspector) a big plus
- Experience working with Google Suite (particularly spreadsheets)
