We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Livermore. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Verify accuracy/completeness, code invoices, and enter data into accounting systems.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile A/P statements, research and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial transaction records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Vendor Communication: Respond to vendor/internal inquiries, manage vendor relationships, and resolve disputes.
- Reporting: Generate periodic A/P reports, assist with month-end and year-end close, and support financial report preparation.
Top Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or accounting clerk experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
