Guest Room Attendant

Job Summary:
The Guest Room Attendant Flex Role at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is responsible for maintaining clean and comfortable guest rooms by providing exceptional housekeeping services and assisting in other housekeeping areas as needed.This individual will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness to enhance the guest experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a salary of $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly. The employee will also receive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan and paid time off. Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas according to hotel standards
- Change linens, make beds, replace amenities and restock supplies in guest rooms
- Vacuum, dust, and mop guest rooms and public areas
- Ensure all hotel furniture, fixtures, and equipment are in good working condition
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints in a professional and friendly manner
- Restock and organize housekeeping cart at the end of each shift
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with other team members

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest service
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
