What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Production Manager position at The Foundry Bakery?
You are:
- Knowledgeable of the bakery ingredients, processes, procedures, and machinery.
- Experienced in food service management, preferably in a high-volume restaurant/bakery/cafe or hospitality setting.
- Experienced with and have a track record of producing high volume of Asian style bread and pastries.
- Experienced at production planning, team management, shift management and scheduling.
- Exceptional at attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent at interpersonal skills, communication skills, time management skills and self-motivation.
- ServSafe Manager certified.
You will:
- Produce dough/fillings, following company procedures and standards.
- Operate all bakery equipment as required, following company standards and established safety procedures.
- Manage weekly orders for efficient production.
- Supervise and maintain inventory.
- Use hands-on, side-by-side approach to train and develop all team members in accordance with company’s training standards.
- Delegate tasks to team members in their various jobs, in a way which will promote safety and quality, minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure team members follow company standards and procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
