The Karr Group, Killington's largest hospitality management company, is hiring Backwaiters and Food Runners to join our team at The Foundry at Summit Pond.
As a Backwaiter/Food Runner, you'll play an important role in supporting servers, delivering food accurately, maintaining a clean and welcoming dining room, and helping ensure that every guest leaves with a positive experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Clear, clean, and reset tables throughout service
- Refill water and beverages as needed
- Assist servers with guest requests and table needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
- Support opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Contribute to a positive team environment and outstanding guest experience
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Friendly, positive, and guest-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
