What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at The Founders Academy?
The Founders Academy Public Charter School, grades 5-12, is seeking a middle / high school para-educator with a passion for helping students to succeed. The mission of the school is to develop educated citizens and leaders who are knowledgeable about our past and who will apply the principles expressed in our founding documents to make wise choices to preserve our liberty while preparing students to use the 21st century skills to compete in the society we live in.
The para-educator performs a variety of instructional and/or support duties to assist the school and teachers in instruction, supervision, and education of students with special needs. May work with students on an individual basis or in small groups to help complete assigned work and keep students on task.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who has a high school diploma, two or more years of college preferred, and who has experience working with students in a middle or high school setting.
