The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a middle & high school French teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy as a member of the staff, providing engaging opportunities for students to learn, and contributing to the culture and climate of the school community in a positive and meaningful way. This is a permanent full-time position.
Qualifications
- Support for and engagement in the school’s mission
- Investment in student success
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- New Hampshire state teaching certification preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Knowledge of curriculum development preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging content specific lessons
- Assess student growth
- Communicate clearly and consistently with families
- Provide feedback to students
- Work with our special education team to design differentiated learning experiences
- Develop curriculum
- Work with administration to uphold and support all school policies and procedures
- Other school duties assigned to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment
