The Foundation for Hispanic Education (TFHE) was established in 1981 as a product of the late Dr. B. Roberto Cruz’s vision of providing quality education and support for all underserved learners, with a focus on Latino students. With 106 committed staff members, TFHE now serves over 1,050 students from the community neighborhoods of Mayfair, Mt. Pleasant, Sylvandale, Santee, and Alum Rock in East San Jose. TFHE operates three charter high schools.

Job Summary
The Foundation for Hispanic Education is seeking dynamic and passionate Science teachers who can develop our students as scientific thinkers. As Science teachers at our charter schools, educators will work closely with the Principal and department teachers to execute the Science department's mission and vision and support our schools’ in graduating bi-literate students. We are seeking life and physical science credential holders who are passionate about working with our demographic and committed to student success. Teachers at our new school sites will have the unique opportunity to help develop a four year science course sequence with a college-prep focus, that emphasizes inquiry based skills and STEM related concepts.
