About the Company
The Fordy Group have partnered with a leading General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, complex construction projects across the Southeast. With a growing portfolio that includes civic, institutional, and commercial developments, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical projects—particularly within the judicial/courthouse sector.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position requires expertise in courthouse/judicial facilities as well as a broad background in commercial construction.
You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams, driving project success in terms of schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Oversee courthouse and government facility projects, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Manage project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Review contracts, manage procurement, and oversee change orders
- Implement best practices in safety, quality assurance, and cost control
- Collaborate with preconstruction teams on estimates and value engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years of construction project management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience delivering courthouse/judicial or similar secure government projects (required)
- Strong background in commercial construction (office, institutional, mixed-use, or similar)
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience on large-scale projects ($20M preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
