We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading industrial construction services provider operating across the Southeast. The organisation provides installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance services for manufacturing and industrial markets.
Job Summary:
The Project Engineer will support project execution and management, ensuring high-quality delivery on industrial projects. Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing project contracts and documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, purchase orders, change orders, and close-out documentation.
- Maintain communication and collaboration with the project team, including foremen, project managers, contractors, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Support material take-offs, estimates, and project modifications.
- Attend and conduct meetings as required.
- Comply with all safety programs and organisational policies.
- Promote the organisation’s core values through daily actions and decision-making.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Flexibility with a wide range of computer software.
- Engineer-in-Training certification, Journeyman license, or field experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to shops, warehouses, and industrial locations.
- Must be able to safely access all areas and use required PPE.
