We're looking for an experienced Chief Inspector to lead inspection and quality operations within an FAA Part 145 repair station. If you're a proven aviation leader with a passion for safety, regulatory excellence, and team development, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead all inspection and quality control activities.
- Make final airworthiness decisions and approve articles for return to service.
- Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations, OpSpecs, and customer requirements.
- Oversee inspections, documentation, records, and calibration programs.
- Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits, driving corrective actions to completion.
- Develop and mentor inspection personnel while maintaining training and qualifications.
- Maintain inspection independence and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Support continuous improvement of quality systems, manuals, and procedures.
What You Bring
- 8 years of engine maintenance and inspection experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required).
- Leadership experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
- Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145.
- A track record of building high-performing teams and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
