What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director of Advancement position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is currently seeking a fundraising leader to bring innovative fundraising strategies and initiatives to an association in the higher education field. The Director will build relationships with corporate partners and donors to form strong relationships to drive revenue for the association. This is a unique opportunity for a Development Manager looking to take on a Director level role with a dedicated and mission-driven team!
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement annual fundraising goals and strategies
- Build strong relationships with corporate partners focusing on long-term relationships
- Build strong relationships with board members and C-Suite executives
- Collaborate with team members to create strategies for engagement and retention for donors at all levels
- Identify trends to drive utilization and tailored support to members
- Ensure revenue growth and track progress against goals
- Manage and mentor a team
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of fundraising and development experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience overseeing performance and reach
- Experience in higher education and/or non-profit organizations
- CRM, Salesforce, or data management experience required
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time-management
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
