Title: Sr. Structural Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX or San Antonio, TX
Duration: Direct Hire / Permanent
Pay: $100,000 - $130,000
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to help lead and grow a building-focused structural practice. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys complex structures, existing buildings, and hands-on problem solving, and who wants real influence over projects, clients, and team development.
You’ll work on a mix of new building design, structural investigations, condition assessments, and rehabilitation of existing and historic structures, collaborating closely with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead structural design, analysis, and consulting for new and existing buildings
- Perform investigations, assessments, and rehabilitation design for complex structures
- Oversee construction documents, technical analyses, and reports
- Work directly with clients, architects, contractors, and public agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to practice growth
What We’re Looking For
- 8 years of structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain Texas licensure by comity
- BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- Strong experience with existing buildings and rehabilitation work
- Excellent communication and technical judgment
- Experience with industry analysis tools; Revit proficiency strongly preferred
