Essential Functions:As the Production Manager you will oversee all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget. Manage and coordinate production teams, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to maintain high-quality standards and efficient workflow. Monitor and adjust production schedules to optimize resource utilization, reduce downtime, and maintain a steady flow of operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, quality, sales, production and logistics, to resolve any issues and ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Oversee and manage communication with third party co-manufacturers and resolve any issues that need to be escalated.

- Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, performance trends, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring raw material timing aligns with the production schedule thus minimizing production downtime and blanket production timing aligns with customer release expectations.
- Work with procurement team to manage and forecast material needs.
- Maintain understanding of current challenges at each contract manufacturing location that could impact production requirements
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer demands

- 5 7 years of experience in production or operations management, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in developing and managing production schedules, balancing workloads, and meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to manage, lead, and develop teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to production schedules.
- Indepth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a production or manufacturing setting. Education/Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years' combined experience in production coordination and/or supply chain, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Excellent organizational, problemsolving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite with a focused strength in MS Excel
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work involves sitting most of the workday greater than 50% of the time. Walking and standing are required as needed.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating production machinery controls, or handling materials.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, exchanging information clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to visually inspect products and materials at close range (within a few feet).
- Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including noise, temperature fluctuations, and exposure to manufacturing equipment. Work environment/Hours

- Must be able to lift 30lbs or greater

Physical Requirements:Full-time Office hours are typically 8:30-5:00pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.
