Position: Director of Operations

Location: Huntsville, Alabama area

Qualifications

MUST HAVE METAL FORGING EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business
• At least seven years of Manufacturing leadership experience within forging, metal forming, or heavy industrial environment.
• Minimum three years of Management experience leading multiple departments, in a Union environment.
• Experience with Forging operations, Machining processes, Heat treatment operations, Production scheduling and workflow management
  
  

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across all forge operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Partner with Quality personnel to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
• Support labor relations activities and administer policies consistent with collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Work closely with Production Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials and resources are available to meet customer commitments.
  
  

Compensation Salary

Salary Range $160,000 - $180,000
