We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Assistant to join the family! We would like someone who is fun and capable. Someone who is proactive and works well with a team. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administering compensation and benefit plans
- Help with organizing training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and reporting any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in communicating development and implementation of human resource policies
- Processing payroll timely and accurately
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support compliance with applicable employment and payroll regulations (ACA, FMLA, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits vendors as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant
- Experience of payroll is a must
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
- BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- Highly organized is a must
- Must work on-site Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Dependability and consistent attendance are essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
