We are seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our dynamic hospitality team. The Mixologist will play a key role in enhancing our venue’s reputation for quality drinks and outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about ingredients, and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate Square POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption to promote safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Stay informed about current beverage trends, brewing techniques, and new cocktail recipes to enhance offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably within fine dining or barista experience.
- Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and working efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements.
- Nice-to-have skills include banquet experience, catering knowledge, retail math proficiency, brewing expertise, cashiering skills, food industry background, hospitality experience, and food safety certifications.
